It is not the first time that on Epiphany there is optimal weather for ballooning in the Alps. We decide on a launch site near Ilanz, where we start at a little after 9:00. Soon we gain altitude and reach 20km/h towards Davos at 3300m. This should be a ride with just under 3 hours. Of course we have enough food with us. Yes we enjoy a fantastic wide view over the whole alpine chain. In the far west we even see the Monte Viso. Also the mild temperatures let us not freeze a bit....
