season
The hot air balloon is the more flexible vehicle of the two balloons. With a hot air balloon, we can take off and land in many places. We are not tied to a fixed infrastructure. With the hot air balloon we travel all year round. Each season has its own special charm. Even in winter, hot air balloon flights are possible.
Equipment
Sporting clothes appropriate to the season, good footwear (hiking boots), sun protection, film and photo equipment, ID for possible trips abroad; and in no case forget - the good mood!
Meeting point
Depending on wind direction and strength, we choose different starting points. Usually at a parking lot where you can leave your vehicle. After the ride, we will bring you back to the meeting point.
Organization
Ballooning takes place all year round, but only in good weather conditions. This is because ballooning is a "fair weather sport." In the summer months, in the morning before the sun rises, we set up. Then you can experience the sunrise in the balloon. In the evening, when the wind has died down, balloon rides are also possible again. In the cold season we float almost the whole day over snow-covered fields and forests. A balloon flight lasts on average 1½ -2h, the total time from the meeting point to the return is about 3- 5 hours. Based on your information, we will contact you and arrange a date for the balloon ride. We ask for your understanding if the pilot has to cancel and postpone a ride for safety reasons. Our goal is to give you a lasting beautiful memory. There is room for several passengers in our balloons. If you would like to take a ride with family, friends or relatives, you can benefit from the group discount (starting from two people).
History
For centuries, it has been a dream of mankind to soar through the air as freely as a bird. in 1783, the "Montgolfier brothers" in France succeeded in making a hot air balloon rise. Thus, the balloon was the first aircraft in the history of mankind. The principle of the hot air balloon, to generate lifting power by heating air, has remained the same since then. Just a month later, Professor Charles invented the hydrogen-filled gas balloon. For a long time it was the only air vehicle with which people could float away from the earth. No suitable, incombustible and light material had yet been found for the envelope of the hot air balloon. But this changed abruptly in the 1970s, when nylon and polyester were invented: Today, the balloon is an absolute "high-tech device" made of expensive materials, which, combined with the good training of the pilot, guarantee a safe flight. The gas balloon is used less often today because of the much greater expense involved. The Montgolfiere (hot air balloon), on the other hand, has conquered the skies far and wide today. Do you want to experience an adventure that is not common and at the same time enjoy wonderful moments of relaxation? Then follow the example of the Montgolfier brothers. Experience the tranquility and incomparable fascination of free floating with a balloon ride, a journey in a wicker basket; the cradle of the skies.
